Christmas is about being with your family… particularly when you grew up in a family of seven. Based on this premise, my ‘official’ Christmas is on Sunday when we all gather.
I thought today I would post some photos from Christmas last year. A summer Christmas is an entirely different experience. Instead of apple pie deserts we had fresh mangos from the tree in the back yard.
Naturally my Sicilian ass made ridiculous amounts of food and lounged around with a few guests… sitting outside during a warm summer night drinking chilled champagne.
Who’s to say what this year holds! It’s early at the moment… I’m going over to play with my niece and nephew soon and check out all the gear Santa brought them. There will be food, laughter, and family… which is really what every holiday should be about.
