Today is the last day of 2009. When the year started, I was just becoming aware of my distaste for shackles. 
And now here we are… scripting, sashaying, and being the creative anarchist I truly am. Amazing what a year can bring!!
Yesterday I was having a dance around Internet land peeping a few other blogs. I noticed that most of the ‘popular’ blogs have to do with making cash blogging or celebrity gossip… or sometimes having babies… so on that note, I’m not expecting to make top 20 in 2010…
I realize that lots of people don’t update their page daily because life gets in the way… and I suppose my current self-appointed status of ‘full-time Writer’ makes it easier for me to beat out an entry every 24 hours. However I am taking a firm stance that daily updates will remain a must in 2010. I love my growing cult and miss you if I don’t check in…
What I love most about my small window of the World Wide Web is that it gives me a place to share writing every day… even though my blog family is still warming up to the commenting thing… (hint hint). In all honesty, I think I need to make the comment section prettier… I’ll work on that… the monsters seem like a nice touch though…
My goal as an Artist is to create work that people relate to. I’m a big girl and can balance having to go out in the world and get dollars doing something that takes no advantage of my skill set… that’s what most humans endure. But I’ll never stop trying to change that…
I think what will be unique about my page in 2010 is the sharing of not only personal / professional happenings (My book has come along this far… My sister told me this…) it will also contain a daily artistic reflection, which is really what I’m about.
And that’s what I’m learning during this trip…
