This morning the button was pushed and my first collection of poetry is now available on Lulu.
I’m not being pessimistic when I say I don’t expect many purchases, I’m being realistic. Poetry usually only sells after you croak. I’ve got a few books I’m working on that I’ll pitch to publishers and possibly sell down the line. The poetry book is for hardcore cult members – exclusively.
I sold one today, to sister number three… for those just catching up… I’ve got four sisters. I’m the youngest. My sisters literally construct who I am. My sister that bought my book is also a Writer. One day I’ll buy her book… because that’s what sisters do. Continue reading…
First thing’s first – brief rant:
I tend to fly solo. Perhaps this is a common trait of Writers? Not sure. Furthermore, I don’t sleep. On certain days, like today, this creates a striking crimson backdrop to my green irises.
Minding my own business this evening wandering blocks of brief encounters with many people I haven’t seen for years, I was approached by a handful of strangers… which I am ordinarily all for. I have no idea what’s occurring at the moment blog family.
More action’s been happening for me to keep track of. Over the past few weeks I’ve been handed pouches of herbs for protection; booked various airfares that hopefully one day land
somewhere to suit; and have found myself jobless once again which is partially because I have no idea what part of the world my actual residence is at the moment and partially because as much as I can go in and play grown up games for dollar exchange – it wears on me in quick and in quiet ways.
