winter blahs. babies.

Namaste Blog Family Winter is killing me. I hate when people complain about the weather, so pardon this paragraph. But for real. The weather man reckons that the temperature is ten degrees lower than usual for this time of year. The first day of spring is this week, and there's still patches of snow around here and there. Over the weekend I escaped to the country to celebrate one of my niece's birthday. She turned the big three this year....

gut punch bites

Namaste lovers of syllable land My favorite words to read hurt. Note "to read". I can never handle anything harsh being spoken, verbal attacks and what not. Humans spatting. Peanut ran around acres of fence-less green without me ever removing a leash from my overnight bag. Later this week, when we move on Thursday, she's going to...

I went to the country for the weekend. I've been pretty cranky for a few reasons. After working 800 hours last week, I haven't quite slept enough yet. I'm planning for the puppies to get on an airplane in  a few weeks, and I still don't know where I'm going to live. Then there are these words everywhere. Short story words, novel words, poetry book words. Somehow I need to sort them. In the midst of all this Blah. I spent a fair amount of the...
