Today is officially my first day of ‘ain’t got no job’. The first thing I did was write a really angry poem.

Then I went on Twitter.

If you want something, you’re supposed to immerse yourself in it. I want an apartment in New York City.

See… I’ve even been carrying around  my NYC bag.


I love it because my first job when I graduated college was located at the top of 17 State Street and this reminds me of my view. Sigh.

Let’s have a look at my view at the moment…


Ok. I realize (now) that a lot of people don’t have the Statue of Liberty outside their harbor-view desk overlooking Battery Park.


I still cannot accept living down the street from a local steeple where 100 year olds drive wheel-bearing chairs with license plates across small fields to park them against a chain link fence… especially when I apparently live in the third biggest city in Australia. WTF?
