i grew up here

With travels overseas approaching I am spending much time where I grew up. I grew up running around in the woods with neighborhood kids and sisters. Today I trekked along the same trails we did as kids. I passed the rocks we gave names to (since we spent so much time together), I swung on vines, I used trees as parallel bars to back flip on.

MY BIRTHDAY WAS SO FUN!!

Although I have missed my beloved New York City for seven years worth of birthdays… yesterday made up for it.

We kicked off with the new slasher flick Machete which, in the name of gore, gets five stars on a four star scale. Yup. That’s what happens when bodies get diced less than sixty seconds into a movie… it RULED! (more…)
