I LANDED A JOB IN MANHATTAN AND START SEPTEMBER FIRST!!!! New York City!! HERE WE COME!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!
I woke up this morning with these exact syllables tossing from my tongue: “NO! I do NOT want a COFFEE! NO! I do NOT need to take a shower when it’s icy outside! (and) YES! It is completely reasonable for me to act like a douche bag simply because I am cranky and do not feel like the world is aligning with my pace.” (Boo hoo)
And then came the email from our friends in New York City…
Dear Gretchen Cello… Please telephone…. We believe we have a bit of good news…
This is basically the part when I break into tears…
Today has been mayhem. I quit the best job I’ve ever had to once again rip life up from the roots, but let’s face it – I have a decent reason…
NEW YORK CITY!!!
It’s been nearly two years since I started this page determined for replacement back to my favorite place. And losing my breath I am slowly understanding… I DID IT!!!
To be true, my state of surrealism is beyond any notion of expression. However might I mention two additional critical factors of my life shifting over the past 15 hours:
1. Jessica Tremp and her amazing man will be LIVE IN NEW YORK CITY with yours truly in NOVEMBER!!
2. The stunning Rijn Collins will be showing me the sites of Berlin at the end of August when I travel BACK to NYC via Germany… because sometimes these things happen…
Tomorrow we return to serialized fiction. Tonight I sway in awe of possibility unfolding.
New York City. Check.
