I’m still not a winter fan, even in paradise. I only like winter if I’m in Queensland, Australia and the nights don’t often dip below 60F.
But… I’ve been writing… so much.
OMFG it is SO cold outside. Negative many style. My fingertips can’t seem to get enough blood to them.
And when you live on a property settled 200 years ago, there’s a real coldness inside of you that just doesn’t leave..
I received a beautiful email a few days ago demanding to know where my stories are. There was a time where my short pieces were posted as wild as my poetry in these parts. Not anymore, sadly. I love having a wide audience of readers. A lot of them are human. I don’t read enough to know what a copycat is. I hope I never learn.
