a way to answer (ask)…

a way to answer (ask)

he lifts two wrists
floating in time
commanding when to
b r e a k

… when the group knows to move.

he reveals
a cross every time
he extends, and i reach
for something closer

touching with each tap.
like looking just beyond
shadows. i assume
stays hidden.

there is ink in his arms –
flowing words across a page,
we practice excuse exchange.

like. maybe. next time.
around and back
i circle to blue eyes.

moments light captures.
singing the same song.

tapping identical

requests.
