Something that fascinates me about my Australian existence is being a day ahead of where a stack of my loyalties and loved ones lay. I'm a bit out of sorts and shall spend the rest of the day rolling around with puppies and being very lazy. It is a period of wild readjustment. My birthday in the city was amazing. Being my first birthday in the US for so many years like I've been saying, certain things hit me in hard, sneaky-like ways.
