d-day… detox… movemovemove…

Today is d-day blog family, I think. Word on the street is I find out if I have a fully sick job today. I’m about to step out the door to work… perhaps I’ll know more tomorrow.

Today is also a friend’s birthday which means dancing is likely and there will probably be pints of delicious pear cider and giggles all around. The small group of Melbourne Artists who I roll with color my world in such wonderful ways.

I’ve been looking for a place to live, which is somewhat tricky when I’m uncertain of what continent I reside on. But I must say my gypsy ways have somewhat caught up and I need a brief hiatus. I’m tired of living in shacks and sleeping on floors. If I land this gig today, I’m going to be grown up and sign a twelve month lease and move into a place that actually has closets and space for me to put a desk.

And I’m getting a desktop. I love my little white macbook dearly… but I’m at a stage of book writing where I want a phat monitor that I can decorate with chapters and click happily in between.

On the note of clicking, I’m pretty certain I have tendentious in my right trigger finger from all the button pressing and pen gripping I use it for. So I’ve been writing left handed lately… but I should probably get it looked at.

In the glorious mix of all this chaos I start another round of detoxing on Sunday. My January detox was moderate to how it usually is considering that my life fell apart… sometimes Shiraz helps with that.

It’s all happening!! Hold on to your hats my gaggle of all things gorgeous… never quite sure where I’ll land next…

Although I will be holding a manuscript at some stage…
