I miss the puppies.
I’m totally a dog person. During
one of my trips to the city last week my cousin and I lunged at every dog we passed in the street which, consequently, offered no comfort toward the void of being away from my beloved Henry and Lily.
Dogs are loyal. They never tell you what you’re doing is foolish. Dogs don’t ever complain or ask for anything more than love.
It sucks that my dogs are in Australia. Usually when I write they’re curled up together no further than five feet away. Although I have been fortunate to make an array of other animal friends since I’ve been here, it would have been happier times if I could have brought the puppies with me.
The puppies miss you too. I do, as well.
